"I DARE YOU TO BE AN ULZZANG, GIRLS!!!"
Hi, pretty little
bunnies!! Welcome back to my blog, sorry for a long hiatus :p. I was super
busy with my exams these days so I
didn’t have a chance to posted any updates. Now I’m back to remind you guys,
“I’m still alive and now I’m wide awake, ready to rumble!!” LOL.
Ok, so these days I feel like playing around with my looks
:D. I fall in love with Ulzzangs. I’m pretty sure most of you guys have known
what is Ulzzang. Actually this kind of style has been very popular since years
ago. I wasn’t very confident to do the look since the Ulzzangs are so cute and
skinny. But now let’s dodge all of the expectation, girls! We can do it, all
you need is one spoonful of confidence and a sprinkle of willing ^^. Let’s
forget the rules about having skinny body etc, be younique because you was born
to stand :D
I am now studying the keys to Ulzzang’s looks. Let’s take a
peak on their sweet secret recipe to achieve their popular dolly look-a-like
face!!
Rule.Number.One
-Flawless Skin-
Ulzzang has a flawless, clear and bright looking skin that
make the girls out agape in amaze. Their secret is so so so simple. Bb cream!
Why not foundations? Well, bb cream tends to be “lighter” than foundation for
daily use, but if you want more coverage to a party or any special occasions,
feel free to use foundation. Remember to pick one that suit your skin type and
skin tone, or you’ll end up looked like a clown. I have used bb cream for
almost 3 years now, and have tried various of them but haven’t picked any Korean brand as my favorite one yet. I’ll
let you know if I found my favorite one day :D.Ahh! If u use bb creams and look at the picture wondering "why my skin is still not as smooth as them?", don't you worry, don't you worry child, ulzzang also use photoshops and high quality camera + perfect lighting to perfecting their skin.
Rule.Number.Two
-Dolly eyes-
Ulzzang has various secret keys to achieve this dolly
looking eyes. Either than having eyeliner, fake lashes, eyeshadow, and makeup,
they also have a secret weapon (I’m being hyperbolic --) , “Color Contact Lens”. It surely make a
lot of wonder to your eyes, make it looked a lot bigger and brighter. I’ve
never tried contact lens before (it’s a shame) and definitely gonna try it.

Rule.Number.Three
-High and slim nose-
When I read it, to be honest I was like “oh. I’m screwed”
lol. Of course I don’t have that kind of nose, but we can achieve it if we
want. Here comes highlighter as a rescuer!! XD. Well to be honest I’ve never
think have a tall and slim looking nose will be that important. I have a flat
nose and even though I highlight it, it won’t looked as tall and slim as those
ulzzang. I’m still definitely happy with it hehehe
Rule.Number.Four
-Cute Pouty Lips-
I guess everyone want a kissable lips (who doesn’t?). there
are some people say ulzzang’s lips has to be red, some say pinkish one is
great, and blablabla. Suit the glosses you are using with your hair, skin and
your style. Lipgloss, lip tint, lipyplipy etc would be very useful to achieve adorable
ulzzang’s lips. Tony Moly and Etude house are some of Korean’s popular brand to
achieve Ulzzang’s lips. Grab your glosses and rock your colors, princess!
Rule.Number.Five
-Petite Body-
Yeah. Petite body does have advantage in achieving Ulzzang’s
looks, but if you get that fatty body or chubby cheeks, girls you are not
alone. I am 149 cm, and last year I was almost 60 kgs. Now I lost 10 kgs of it
and if I can do it why can’t you? ^^. I don’t
mean you have to be less than 45 kgs, at least u work on your body to a
healthier and more defined shape :D. Ulzzang’s V-line is also daebak. I don’t have
that kind of face shape but it actually doesn’t matter, you don’t need to do a
plastic surgery. Just because your favorite Ulzzang or K-pop idol has a crazy
v-line, it doesn’t mean you have to achieve that v-line. Ulzzang means “Best
face” which mean “the best face you can have”. Your makeup can play a little
trick here *wink*
Rule.Number.Six
-Hair.style ^^-
It’s amazing how your hair could create such a dramatic
change. You can either rock long hair either short hair! I browsed Ulzzang’s pictures and their hairs are styled cutely. Braids,
ponytails, wave hair, straight hair and so much more. You can style it every way
you want. You can even dye it! -^^-. When I saw Snsd’s hairs in I Got A Boy’s
mv, I was… in a mental shock. Nae kkamjak, men bungiya!! Lol. Especially when I
saw Yoona’s, Taeyeon’s and Jessica’s hairs. I really fall in love with their
choice of colors. Yoona looked soooo pretty with her orange’s hair (I know it’s
effect of lighting but she really looked gorgeous and I was determined to have
that kind of hair one day kekeke)
Rule.Number.Seven
-Accessories & Outfits-
Glasses, hats, stockings, cute skirts, colorful shoes…
Ulzzang is really identic with their cutesy fashion sense. The accessories they
use are simply enchanting them and perfecting their already innocent looks. Mix
and match your wardrobe and get the simple clean yet adorable fashion sense.
They are seven secret keys to be an ulzzang. Pretty simple
doesn’t it? Now are you guys ready to be an ulzzang? I am so so ready for it! So
it’s a “I dare You to be an ulzzang” challenge. I’ll show you how do I do it,
what products I’m gonna use etc. Am I going to change? Well, at least I’m
trying hahaha. Have a little faith on yourself, darling!
